One of our favorite areas of the South Bay is the area of Torrance known as Old Torrance or Old Town Torrance. This was one of the original neighborhoods and many of the homes are turn of the century (20th that is!) homes that have survived the wrecking ball and are far more than tract homes built post WW2.

1423 Post isn’t quite as old as some but it’s over 100 years old and they certainly don’t make homes like this any more. This striking 1923 “post colonial revival” is quite a bit different from the usual craftsman and it’s hard not to note the dramatica columns and porch.
