Top Torrance Home Sale of the Month – Seaside Ranchos Remodel Closes at $2,300,000

The top sale of the month (not including the Hollywood Riviera) in Torrance was an extensively remodeled single family home on large view lot in the Seaside Ranchos area of south Torrance. The home sold WAY over list price. It was originally listed at $1,899,000 and sold for $2,300,000 which is pretty amazing for a home with only 2 bathrooms and less than 2,000 square feet. Having said that it was beautifully remodeled/flipped and the location was tough to beach.

It was a slower month for home sales and home prices in Torrance CA.  Take a look below at all of the homes that sold in Torrance in January.  January 2022 saw 73 on MLS closed home sales which was a big drop from December in which there were 111 sold homes.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold during January was $923,394 with the average sold price at $963,193 meaning that homes generally sold WAY over the asking price. The average price per foot for the month was $664. 2021 Year in Review – Torrance Real Estate By the Numbers

What a year it was for the real estate market in Torrance CA.  There were 1148 on MLS home sales and closed escrows during the year.Summerwind townhomes Torrance The average “list” price was $1,032000 and the average “sold” price was an impressive $932,000.  Those numbers are a bit deceiving as there were a few ultra expensive homes that sold during the year and they sold dramatically below the list price which skewed the numbers just a bit.  Average price per foot was $636 and the average days on market was a brief 16 before going into pending status.

December Real Estate Market Recap – Torrance Home Sales by The Numbers

Welcome to the real estate market recap for home sales in and throughout Torrance CA in December 2021.  There was a slight slowdown in home sales this year primarily due to the lack of active homes for sale in November.  Overall there were 111 closed home sales in December 2021 compared with 123 in December of 2020.  The median sales price was $900,000 for the homes, townhomes and condos that closed during the month.  Homes averaged a very short 15 days on market before going into escrow.
