New to the market is a 2 bedroom condo in one of our favorite 55+ senior complexes. Village Court at 21345 Hawthorne Blvd (despite the address it’s not actually on Hawthorne) is a senior complex built in 2005 by Anastasi Construction. They did a nice job of given it a feeling more of a resort with a very nice social spaces on the pool deck. Resort style pool, spa, bbq area as well as indoor spaces including gym, billiards room and clubhouse. The condo is new enough to still offer what today’s buyers are looking for. Enjoy granite counters, stainless steel appiances, recessed lights, a/c and more.

April 2022 was a huge month for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for in the South Bay community of Torrance CA. There were 129 homes that closed escrow during the month up from the 107 that sold in March.
The average “list” price for the homes that sold during March was $970,531 with the average sold price at $1,048,230 meaning that homes generally sold WAY over the asking price.
The average price per foot for the month was $714. The average days on market was a very short 13 with the median days on market an amazing 8 before going into pending status. See how that compares with other months on our Torrance real estate trends and statistics page.

Hopefully this is an indication of a slightly calmer market on the horizon but we’ve seen several months in a row now of increased number of homes hitting the market, an increased number of homes going into escrow (due to more homes being available), and increased number of homes closing escrow.

New to the market is this charming bunglow in a nice north Torrance location. It’s priced on the higher side for the condition and square
footage in our eyes at $966,000 but in this market it’s bound to sell quickly. The home offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and has been remodeled to an extent. The home sits on a 5,000 foot lot and features a spacious grassy yard in back.
