Welcome to the month that was for real estate and home sales in Torrance during July. It was a solid month with 87 home sales at a median home price of $945,000. Homes averaged only 24 days on market before going into escrow.

July was another strong month for home sales in Torrance with 87 closed home sales in and throughout Torrance. That was very similar to June that had 89 sold homes.
The average “asking” price was a very impressive $1,003,348 with the average sold price at $1,023,077 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.
The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in May was $697 and the average days on market was a VERY brief 25 before going into pending status. Median days on market were only 9!

Just listed in Windemere, one of the great gated communities of Plaza Del Amo and central Torrance.
We recently posted about how surprised we were that another condo in Windemere sold so quickly (challenging with a tenant in place whose lease ended in Feb 2024), it’s nice to see another hit the market today.
This Windemere condo has been extensively remodeled and features an open layout with 2 bedrooms plus a loft and almost 2,000 square feet. One of the more appealing features is that it has dual suites…one on the first level and one on the second meaning stairs aren’t required to access on of the bedrooms suites.
Windemere on the Green is a great gated community in Torrance and offers some beauiful grounds with a fantastic pool and spa deck in a friendly community. Windemere is one of the larger gated complexes of Plaza Del Amo with almost 400 condos and townhomes.
