April 2026 Real Estate Recap for Torrance CAPark Plaza Estates townhomes in Torrance

Things were BUSY in April for the Torrance real estate market with an impressive 90 homes selling…..which was about the same as March, but almost double February.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,110,963 with the average sold price at $1,127,835 which was up nicely from $1,069,997 in March and  $1,077,418 in February.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $710 which down slightly from Marcht.  The averaged days on market, or DOM, was a very brief 24 days before going into escrow.

Torrance Real Estate Market Report for October 2025Marble Estates in Torrance

What a month it was for the Torrance real estate market!

There were 96 home sales  for the second month in a row with an average home price of $1,116,238.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,117,075 with the average sold price at  $1,116,238 which was down a bit from the very impressive $1,187,943 in September but slightly above August’s average home price of  $1,110,152.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $733 compared to $762 in September, $718 in August, $742 in July and $772 in June.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 38 days before going into escrow.

64 Home Sales in Torrance During DecemberClassic craftsman homes in Torrance

The real estate market in Torrance California was a bit slower for the second month with only 64 homes selling December.  That wasn’t unusual or unexpected as December is historically the slowest month of the year.   There were 60 sales in November,  71  in October and 90 in September.

The average “asking” price  was $915,065 with the average sold price at $918,680 which was very similar to November but down from the  very impressive October average sales price of $1,100,411.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in November was $657 and the average days on market was 27 before going into escrow.

71 Home Sales in Torrance in October At $1,100,411 Avg!

71 Home Sales in Torrance in October at an Average Price of over $1.1M!Torrance homes for sale

While we saw a bit of a slow down in terms of the number of homes that sold, prices were pretty unbelievable.   There were 71 homes that sold compared to an impressive 90 in September

The average “asking” price  was a very impressive $1,072,892 with the average sold price at $1,100,411 which was a nice jump from the $1,034,044 in September and a similar number in August.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in October was $720 and the average days on market was a very brief 21 before going into escrow. That’s about half the time it takes for a home to sell in the surrounding communities.

Torrance real estate recap for June 2023Marble Estates in Torrance

After a few very slow months the real estate market in Torrance CA at the beginning of the year things definitely heated up along with the weather.   There were  89 closed home sales during June which was a bit more than the 80 sales in May and April.

The average “asking” price  was a very impressive $1,028,725 with the average sold price at $1,059,573 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in May was $665 and the average days on market was a VERY brief 20 before going into pending status.

76 October Home Sales in Torrance CA – Market Slowing Down

Torrance Real Estate Update for October 2022

The real estate market in Torrance cooled a bit for  the number of homes that sold but home prices continued to impress.  There were 76  homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from the 86 sales in September.  Compared with the peak summer month of 112 homes that sold in July and you can see how slow the market was.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold during October was a very impressive $1,048,419 with the average sold price at $1,045,073 meaning that homes generally slightly below full price for the 2nd month in a row. Both numbers were higher than in September.

The average price per foot for the month was $695 which was slightly higher than in September.
