Torrance Real Estate Market Report for November 2025Torrance duplexes for sale

Welcome to the real estate market recap for home sales and home prices in Torrance CA last month.  It was a bit of a slower month with 68 homes sold at average price of $1,027,329 .  That was well down from the 96 homes that closed escrow in both October and September.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,027,329 with the average sold price at $1,024,030  which was a healthy drop from$1,116,238 in October and even more from  $1,187,943 in September.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $701 compared to $733 in October and $762 in September.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 36 days before going into escrow.

While it might have taken a while the oceanfront home at 631 Paseo De La Play in the Hollywood Riviera recently sold at $9.7M after 2 years on the market and a number of price reductions.    The estate style home was originally listed in December 2023 at $15,000,000 and just closed at  $9,700,000.

This oceanfront home was listed by Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty.

The home offered a legacy type location on the bluffs with unblocked and unblockable views of PV, the ocean and the coastline.  The home was the highest on the street (other than the condo complex of Cote D’Azure so it offered top of the world views.  Despite the Redondo Beach mailing address the home (and all homes in the Hollywood Riviera) actually reside in the city of Torrance with Torrance schools and services.
