Torrance Real Estate Market Report for October 2025Marble Estates in Torrance

What a month it was for the Torrance real estate market!

There were 96 home sales  for the second month in a row with an average home price of $1,116,238.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,117,075 with the average sold price at  $1,116,238 which was down a bit from the very impressive $1,187,943 in September but slightly above August’s average home price of  $1,110,152.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $733 compared to $762 in September, $718 in August, $742 in July and $772 in June.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 38 days before going into escrow.

What a month it was for the Torrance real estate market!

There were 96 home sales with an average home price of $1,187,943.  September saw a month over month increase in the number of homes that sold  with 96 closed home sales  compared with 82 in August, 92  in July and 84 in June.

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,191,109 with the average sold price at $1,187,943 which was an increase from an impressive $1,110,152 in August although it was below the average prices in both July and June.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $762 in September compared to $718 in August, $742 in July and $772 in June.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 36 days before going into escrow.

While it might have taken a while the oceanfront home at 631 Paseo De La Play in the Hollywood Riviera recently sold at $9.7M after 2 years on the market and a number of price reductions.    The estate style home was originally listed in December 2023 at $15,000,000 and just closed at  $9,700,000.

This oceanfront home was listed by Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty.

Torrance Real Estate Market Report for June 2025Paseo De La Playa homes

Torrance bucked the trend as it was one of the only South Bay cities that saw a month over month increase in the number of homes that sold from May.  There were 84 closed escrows in June compared to 80 in May.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

Prices were even more impressive.  The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,233,058 with the average sold price at $1,242,082  compared with $1,118,059 in May,  $1,172,547 in April and  $1,116,670 in March.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $772  compared to $760 in May.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 28 before selling..
