What a month it was for home sales and home prices in Torrance CA.  December 2021 saw 111 on MLS closed home sales which was a big month.  The average “list” price was $929,840 with the average sold price at $968,112 meaning that homes generally sold WAY over the asking price. The average price per foot for the month was $646. December Real Estate Market Recap – Torrance Home Sales by The Numbers

Welcome to the real estate market recap for home sales in and throughout Torrance CA in December 2021.  There was a slight slowdown in home sales this year primarily due to the lack of active homes for sale in November.  Overall there were 111 closed home sales in December 2021 compared with 123 in December of 2020.  The median sales price was $900,000 for the homes, townhomes and condos that closed during the month.  Homes averaged a very short 15 days on market before going into escrow.
