April By the Numbers – Torrance Real Estate Recap
It was a HUGE month for the real estate market in Torrance CA during April 2021. There were 137 on market home sales (closing escrow) during the month with another 138 going into escrow. That’s pretty unbelievable. The bad news is that new listings are most definitely not keeping up and there were only 57 active listings later in the month which spells trouble for home buyers in the area. Homes averaged only 13 days on market before selling and the median sales price was an impressive $923,000. It was a HUGE month for home sales with 133 homes closing esrow during the month with an additional 142 going into escrow meaning April will be even bigger. Torrance Real Estate Recap – February at a Glance
February was a great month for real estate in Torrance with 76 home sales compared to the 71 sold in February 2020. The median sales price was $808,000 with and average days on market of 21.
The Lowest Priced Home in Torrance
As of 1/15 the lowest priced home currently for sale (excluding manufactured homes) is a one bedroom single level condo in the 55+ senior complex of Sunset Gardens. The home offers 1 bedroom, 1 bath and approximately 669 sq feet.

The real estate market in Torrance CA was once again a VERY active one in October. There were 122 on market home sales which is an extremely impressive number or the third straight month. The median “asking” prices of the homes that sold was $839,750 with the median “sold” price at $830,000 indicating a very solid “seller’s market”.
