The top Torrance home sale of February was a 4 bed/3 bath single family home in West Torrance located at 4218 Konya Drive 90503. The home was a bit deceptive as the interior didn’t really match the exterior. Built in 1978 the home definitely looked like a 70s build from the outside but had a nicely updated interior with high ceilings and great light. The home was listed for $1,795,000 and closed just under that at $1,785,000.

during February. We saw 76 on MLS closed home sales which was a big drop from December in which there were 111 sold homes but a slight uptick from the 73 closed sales in January.
that closed escrow with only 75 on market home sales. This was not unexpected as the number of homes that went pending in December was very low. It was not an indication that the market is slowing at all and actually was due to the record low inventory of homes for sale towards the end of 2021. The median sales price was $915,000 and homes averaged a very brief 20 days before going into pending status.
January 2022 below. January 2022 was a much slower month for the number of homes that sold in most South Bay cities which was not a surprise given that there had been a record low inventory of homes for sale and escrows in December of 2021. The South Bay real estate market definitely remains a very favorable to sellers.
