Torrance Bucks the Trend With Slight Increase in Home Sales

Torrance Home Sales and Home Prices in November 2024Torrance real estate and homes

November 2024 was a great month for the real estate market in Torrance CA.  There were 81 homes that sold compared with 80 in October.

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,094,133 with the average sold price at $1,101,010 which was slightly higher than $1,094,105 in October.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $685 which was a significant decrease from $738 in October.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 30 before selling.

The highest price of the month was $2,300,000 for a home at 22630 Draille in South Torrance.  The buyers were represented by Keith Kyle of Vista Sotheby’s.

Holiday fun in the Hollywood Riviera

If you’re looking for a fun evening with a great community vibe, the holiday stroll in Riviera Village happens later this week.

This is always a great event on the busy South Bay holiday schedule.  The festivities take place in the heart of Riviera Village on Catalina Ave with the street closed off to cars making for safe and fun event for kids and grown ups alike.

The holiday stroll takes place onThursday, December 5 from 5PM – 9PM

The event celebrates both the holidays and is in support of local Riviera Village businesses and restaurants.  The stores and restaurants stay open late and many serve drinks and refreshments to the strollers.

Some of the festivities include

– Interactive attractions for kids and adults
– Grinch and Santa procession
– Photo spots for your annual holiday greetings cards: large lighted lettering in holiday phrases, photo booths, pictures with Santa, Grinch and other holiday characters.

80 Homes Sell in Torrance In October at $1,094,105 Avg

October 2024 was a great month for the real estate market in Torrance CA.  There were 80 homes that sold compared with 74 in September.Torrance homes for sale

Search the current homes for sale in Torrance

The average “list” price of the homes that sold  was $1,084,368 with the average sold price at $1,094,105 which was a slight drop from $1,112,893 in September but up from $1,057,181 in August.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in October was $738 and the homes that sold averaged a  short 32 days on market before going into escrow which was  below the DOM averages in most of the South Bay.
