See How the Torrance Real Estate Market Compared with 2023

So how did the Torrance real estate market compare with February 2023?  Let’s take a look at the key numbers for home sales in Torrance in February 2024.  The number of homes for sale in Torrance was up substantially with 88 active listings compared to only 68 a year earlier.  The number of homes in escrow was also up, along with the number of homes that closed during the month.  There were 69 closed sales in February 2024 compared with only 52 a year earlier.  Median home prices were up quite a bit as well.

February 2024 Home Sales in Torrance CA – See What Sold

69 Home Sales in Torrance During February 202455+ senior condos at the Meridian in Torrance

The real estate market in Torrance California picked up the pace a bit with 69 closed escrows in February.  That was a nice increase from 48 in January.

That being said the prices were very impressive.

The average “asking” price  was $959,384 with the average sold price at $993,758 which was a bit of a dip from the $1,012,480 in January.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in February was $692 and the average days on market was 29 before going into escrow.  That was quite a bit shorter than some neighboring cities.
