Torrance Median Home Prices for February 2016

April 24, 2016 by Keith Kyle

By Keith Kyle

Torrance, CA and the South Bay saw another strong month for home prices although a few cities saw big percentage drops in average home prices.  Those numbers, especially in smaller cities, or in a month with fewer home sales, don’t really mean much, but taken over times gives a good indication as to what is happening in the local Torrance real estate market.

Torrance had a slightly lower than average month with 85 home sales, with median home prices in the mid $500,000’s.

Torrance Foreclosures Continue to Dwindle

February 2, 2016 by Keith Kyle

By Keith KyleForeclosure-sign

Torrace continues to see a decline in distressed home sales with only 5 actve short sales and no current bank owned homes or REO listings.  With property values continuing to rise and now that we’re beyond peak prices, the ability for distressed homeowners to sell for a profit (or not at a loss) has limited the foreclosure market to a trickle.  View the current distressed home sales in Torrance CA.  Contact realtor and Torrance specialist Keith Kyle for information on the market or any of the homes below.  To see foreclosures in other South Bay cities, visit our South Bay and Beach cities foreclosures page.

Torrance CA Home Prices Continue to Rise in December

January 26, 2016 by Keith Kyle

By Keith Kyle

The December numbers are in and if there was any thought that the real estate market in Torrance was slowing down or leveling the numbers certainly say otherwise.

The average home price in Torrance for the homes that closed escrow during December was $620,851* with a median price of $619,000*.  Those are big numbers that still shows no sign of slowing or reversing.   See the chart below for the December home sales numbers for Torrance and the South Bay for December of 2015.

See the Homes That We Have Sold in Southern California

January 8, 2016 by Keith Kyle

By Keith Kyle

We are so fortunate to have worked with so many wonderful people and in such a great area.  It just doesn’t get much better.  See the map below to view all of our local home sales. Although we’ve sold more homes in Torrance and Redondo, we have been lucky enough to sell throughout the area, from Santa Monica to Huntington Beach. Many of these were first time buyers and are now happy homeowners. The red marks are home sales in which I represented the buyer, the orange marks represent homes that I listed, and the blue marks represent homes in which I represented both buyers and sellers.  Click on the marks to see pictures of the various homes and properties.

You can also see the interactive map of our South Bay home sales on Google.

Homes of all shapes and sizes for sale in Victoria Knolls

October 1, 2015 by Keith Kyle

By Keith KyleTorrance homes for sale

Victoria Knolls is a small, and somewhat, unknown neighborhood in the Walteria section of Torrance.  It also happens to be one of my favorite neighborhoods.  With one way in and one way out, and sitting high on the hill the neighborhood offers a great community feel with quiet streets, appropriate sized homes (most of the time) and many homes offer great views of the city.  As of this article there are currently 4 homes available in this area which is a rarity.  The homes range in price from the high $600,000s to over $1,000,000 for something updated with a view.
