What a year it was for real estate and home sales in Torrance during 2020.
Without question it was a fantastic year for real estate, home sales and home prices in city of Torrance CA. Here’s just a quick recap of some key numbers. There were 1144 on market home sales during 2020 compared with 1204 in 2019. The median sales price was an impressive $835,000. Homes that sold only averaged 24 days on market before selling. The real estate market in Torrance CA was once again a VERY active one in October. There were 122 on market home sales which is an 
extremely impressive number or the third straight month. The median “asking” prices of the homes that sold was $839,750 with the median “sold” price at $830,000 indicating a very solid “seller’s market”. It’s not often that we see homes come on the market in the lower Hollywood Riviera neighborhood that’s west of Palos Verdes Blvd. Occassionally we see a home or two and more often than not, there is nothing on the market in this area.
That certainly couldn’t be further from the case at the moment as there are 4 homes for sale on Camino De Encanto in the Hollywood Riviera.
There are current 4 homes on the market and all are within a 1/2 block. This is pretty unheard of an probably not ideal for any of the homes as when buyers have options….they want to negotiate.
